Perfect for my cold office
I have a small office with a door that gets really cold because the building management keeps the winter temperature far too low for comfort. I plugged this into the socket above my desk and now I am warm without anyone even knowing it is there. I love it.

Heats the room well
I replaced the bulky portable heater in our conservatory with this one to free up some space. It keeps running for a minute after you switch it off, which is not a problem. Our conservatory is a decent size and it heats it well. Excellent little heater.

Quiet and effective
I bought this little heater for my spare room, as it is always a bit chilly in winter. It heats up very quickly and makes almost no noise, which is perfect at night. The automatic shut-off safety feature really puts my mind at ease. Great value for money.

Beats heating the whole house
I work from home two days a week and heating the whole house for one room made no sense. This warms the study in a few minutes and I switch it off when I am done. Simple and it does exactly what it says.
Dave R. — Glasgow
Great in the bathroom
We use it to take the chill off the bathroom before the kids' bath time. Warms up fast and the timer is handy. Four stars only because I wish the display were a little dimmer at night.

Bought a second one
Ordered one to try it in the bedroom and liked it enough to order a second for the living room. The remote is more useful than I expected and it is genuinely quiet.

What reviewers praise most
Speed. The most common comment is how quickly a small room starts to feel warm — typically within a few minutes of switching on.
Quietness. Bedroom and nursery users repeatedly mention that it does not keep them awake.
Size. Several customers replaced a bulky floor-standing heater and got their floor space back.
The remote. Being able to change temperature or set the timer without getting up is mentioned far more often than you would expect.
The honest criticisms
It is a room heater, not a house heater. Customers who expected it to warm an open-plan ground floor were disappointed. It is designed for spaces up to roughly 12 m².
The display is bright at night. A few bedroom users would prefer a dimmer or an off setting for the screen.
The fan runs on briefly after switch-off. That is the cool-down cycle protecting the element, but it surprises some people.
Who tends to be happiest with it
People heating one room they actually use — a home office, a bedroom, a bathroom before a bath, a conservatory in spring and autumn — consistently rate it highest. If you want to avoid firing up central heating for the whole house to make one room usable, that is exactly the job it does. Our small room heater guide explains how to size it for your space.
A note on how we present reviews
Reviews on this page are customer feedback about their own homes. Heating results and running costs vary with room size, insulation, and your electricity tariff, so treat individual experiences as exactly that rather than as a guaranteed outcome. For cost maths, see our running costs guide.
